Here is a Nissan (or possibly Datsun) I spied from my office on the 8th floor.

Looks a bit long too, might be the 2+2 model.

The silver Z31 300ZX at the top is not a 2+2, but a 2-seater.

The red Z31 300ZX that CrazedClay posted is a 2+2, obvious by the extra angle change and length in the roof and rear quarter window. It is longer in wheelbase and rear overhang.

280ZX is the second generation, second down from the top. Z31 is the third generation, just below it. The car pictured in the original post has a slant nose, and sharp triangle quarter window give it away as a Z31. The black hood with body color pop-up headlights might resemble a bit of the earlier headlight buckets.

Sold as Nissan Fairlady Z in Japan.

1st Generation: Datsun 240Z, 260Z, 280Z, denoting L-series inline-6 engine displacement in centiliters, 280Z - L28 engine -> 2.8 liters. Chassis code S30. 1969-1978.

2nd Generation: Datsun 280ZX, revised chassis, impact bumpers, heavier but much more refined, top model received a Turbocharger. Chassis code S130. 1978-1983. The X at the end of the name indicated that it had more amenities.

3rd Generation: Sold as Nissan in the US, called 300ZX. Completely new, more angular body, and new V6 engine in place of the longer, taller inline 6, allowing a shorter front overhang, and keeping the low tapered hood line. VG30DE atmospheric, and VG30DET turbocharged variants. Chassis code changes format to Z31. 1984-1989, although '89 model years are rare, and identical to '88s, and changed over mid-year to the 4th generation car.

4th Generation: next generation of 300ZX, with another new body and chassis. VG30DE and DETT (twin turbocharged) engines were upgraded with dual overhead cams, and variable valve timing. One of the most iconic modern Z-cars. Chassis Code Z32. introduced in 1989, ceased import into US in 1996, stopped production in Japan after 1999 model year.

5th Generation: after the mass-exodus of coupes from the market in the late 90s, it returned after a 2001 concept, as production in 2002. New, less expensive configuration, and a return to the simplicity and lack of an 'X', as 350Z, powered by a newer VQ35DE V6 engine. Chassis code Z33. 2002-2008.

6th Generation: revised and current iteration of the platform with 3.7 liter VQ37VHR with ~100hp/liter. Chassis code Z34, 2009-current.
